Cloud Platform Engineer Automotive (m/f/x)

We - seneos GmbH - are a 100% subsidiary of Hitachi Astemo Ltd. with about 70 employees at the location in Cologne and in Bulgaria. As a system house we support our international mother company in their European projects and additionally we act independently as a development and engineering partner for companies in the automotive industry and railroad technology. We work on exciting projects in the field of infotainment, display devices, autonomous driving, electromobility, driver assistance systems (ADAS) and control unit development.

We are looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer Automotive (m/f/x) for our office in Sofia.

An experienced engineer with expertise in the automotive environment is needed to develop and manage our cloud platforms for innovative projects and solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and optimization of cloud infrastructures specifically tailored to the requirements of the automotive industry with following tasks:

• The aim of the project is to create a cloud-based virtual project environment.

• You will design and implement a suitable cloud platform architecture for vehicle data analysis, connected vehicles and other automotive applications.

• You will ensure the scalability, performance and security of the cloud platform in the medium term, taking into account industry-specific requirements.

• In collaboration with internal teams and external partners, you will jointly develop customized solutions for the virtual project environment.

INTERESTED? YOUR PROFILE:

• You have successfully completed your academic degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
• Several years of experience with C, C++ and Linux environments (e.g. POSIX. QNX)
• Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (VirtualBox, QEMU, VMware)
• Experience with designing, developing and managing of cloud-based platforms (e.g. AWS)
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork complete your profile
